Lead Developer

Join our team in Guelph, ON and you will use your use your expert Microsoft SQL Server and database skills in analyzing, building, optimizing, and maintaining Moxy Media’s database infrastructure.
Main Accountabilities:
- Utilizes and evolves software development and technical expertise in .NET, ASP.NET, C#, XML technologies , and SQL-Server
- Leads and guides his/her team group regarding workflow, deliverables, technical strategy, standards, best practices, new tools & technologies and work practices
- Accurately estimates development tasks based on the appropriate business constraints, and delivers them on-time in a quality manner
- Acts as a Business Analyst, System Analyst, Technical Architect, and Software Developer when required/needed
- Enforces and evolves software development standards and best practices, for example SCM standards
Required Skills / Qualifications:
- 4+ years professional experience in all stages of definition, design, implementation, testing, and deployment of software systems, especially web-based
- 4+ years of professional experience in all of the following tools/technologies: ASP.NET/C#, .NET/C#, SQL Server and T- SQL, and XML/XSL
- Superior organizational, leadership and communication skills
- Deep understanding of Microsoft tools and technologies
- Broad knowledge of development methodologies, especially Agile methodologies like Crystal Clear and /or eXtreme Programming
- MCSD or other Microsoft certification a plus.
- Broad knowledge of software analysis and design techniques and tools like UML, OOA/OOD, RUP, etc
- Must have past experience as a Team Lead, Senior Developer, Technical Architect, Technical Project Manager, Developer Analyst, and/or similarly-titled position
