Join our team in Guelph, Ontario and you will use your use your expertise in software development and web applications to build, optimize, and maintain Moxy Media’s web application infrastructure.
Main Accountabilities:
- Actively participate in project team efforts to analyze designs, build/code, configure, test, install and deliver complex, innovative, and strategic technology solutions
- Collaborate with peers and provide the technical input, experience and advice required to complete challenging development projects.
- Utilize development, technical and design expertise in .NET, ASP.NET, C#, XML technologies, and SQLServer.
- Take ownership of all work done assigned to you.
- Develop a deep understanding of how our business works and how assigned projects and tasks relate to our business needs and goals.
Required Skills / Qualifications:
- 3+ years professional experience in all stages of definition, design, implementation, testing, and deployment of software systems, especially web-based
- 2+ years of professional experience in all of the following tools/technologies: ASP.NET/C#, .NET/C#, SQL Server and T?SQL, and XML/XSL
- Good understanding of Microsoft tools and technologies
- Good understanding of OOA/OOD.
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
- MCSD or other Microsoft certification a plus.
- Experience working in the internet industry (web-based company / ISP / hosting company) a definite plus.
- Excellent fluent English verbal and written communication skills, including strong technical writing abilities.
